Defender is placed between your network
and the Internet. After some simple configuration,
the device will check all website traffic
requests and check that address on to one
of our worldwide web content servers.
The server will return which category
the website belongs to, and according to
administrative settings will either block
or allow the user to access the website.
Another alternative method to use content
filtering is through our 3rd party products.
Our partners, such as U.S.Robotics,
have routers with the ability to filter
web content. Activating the web filtering
service on those devices allows them to
use PowerNetix´s Web Content Filtering. |
